About me

Education:

Master of Social Work, MSW 2007

Univeristy of Utah

Bachelor of Science, Social Work 2006

University of Utah

My education is just a portion of the story of who I am. I have always been an advocate for others and I should have known since I was young that working in the field of Social Work and with people would be my path. Volunteer work is what helped me find the passion of supporting and loving others. My work and service has taking me to developing countries, adolescent residential programs, treatment hospitals, schools, inner city programs, and for the last 8 years my private practice in South Orange County.

Upon request I speak to youth groups and adults frequently and love the opportunity to be in the community helping to decrease the stigma connected with mental illness and offer supportive tools and opportunities for connection.

It is no secret that I love the outdoors. Living in Orange County has been a perfect fit for me and my family. My husband and I have been married for 16 years with 12 of these years being spent in Southern California. We have two kids whom continue to be a part of my motivation and love any chance they can to visit my office to play with all the games and read all the books.

Most recently we have added a second dog to the family whom I am training to be a therapy dog to offer services in hospitals and schools. I am eager to get back to my roots of volunteer work. Look forward to meeting my new little pup San O in the office.
